World Trade Center’s privileged location in Mexico City has various means of transportation to get out and about.
Just outside the Convention Center there is an authorized cab service that can take you anywhere in the city for under $30 US dollars.
A bus rapid transit (BRT) system. The first trip costs under $1.50 US dollars, after this each ride costs less than 50 US cents. There are 4 stations in a 2 mile (3.2 km) radius from the WTC.
Mexico City’s subway system is a fast and cheap way to get around the city. There are 6 stations in a 5 mile (8 km) radius from the WTC and a trip in the subways costs 30 US cents.
Mexico City has a bicycle-sharing program, known as ECOBICI.
ECOBICI has more than 1,000 bicycles at 90 stations, with bikes available for 45 minute loans to members who pay a $300 peso ($30 US Dollars) annual fee.
