Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011 closes with record results
Europe’s leading trade exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry, Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011, ended today with record results. On an enlarged exhibition area, covering 12,500 square metres net in three halls at Stuttgart’s exhibition grounds, 667 exhibitors from 40 countries showcased a comprehensive range of products and services for the fastener and fixing industry. With some 8,300 visitors, an increase of 38% compared with the previous exhibition, this year’s Fastener Fair Stuttgart was the biggest ever.

Europe’s largest trade exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry opens its doors
From 22-24 February 2011 halls 4,6 and 8 at the Messe Stuttgart exhibition grounds will be the international meeting point for distributors, suppliers, engineers, specifiers and industry experts for fastener and fixing technology. With 670 exhibitors from 40 countries and a net exhibition space of 12,500 m2 this year’s edition of Fastener Fair Stuttgart is bigger than ever.

Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011: Trade show for fastener and fixing technology is bigger than ever
“Since important industry sectors such as the machine tool, the automotive and the construction industries are picking up again, there is an increasing demand for fastener and fixing technology. As a major international industry event, Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011 comes, therefore, exactly at the right time,” says Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair Stuttgart on behalf of the organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

Booking boom - Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011 will now cover three exhibition halls
“We are experiencing a real booking boom,” says Exhibition Director Susanne Rauberger, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “516 exhibitors from 30 countries have already secured their stand space, and we are still receiving a great number of enquiries every day. We have therefore decided to expand the show by a third hall to meet the huge demand for stand space at Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011. The show will now occupy halls 4, 6 and 8 at the Messe Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.”

Next Fastener Fair Stuttgart in February 2011
From 22-24 February 2011, Fastener Fair Stuttgart will, once again, be the central market place for everyone involved in fastener and fixing technology. The new spring date has been well received with exhibiting companies; some 210 exhibitors from 18 countries have already booked their stand space.

Mack Brooks Exhibitions announces the acquisition of Fastener Fairs Limited
International show organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group, has acquired the entire shareholding of Fastener Fairs Limited for an undisclosed figure. Fastener Fair, which takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, is Europe’s largest trade exhibition for fastener technology: 625 exhibitors and some 6,000 visitors attended the record exhibition in October 2009. A satellite event of the show, targeted to the Hungarian fastener and fixing market, will be organised again in Budapest in September 2010. With Fastener Fairs Limited, Mack Brooks also acquired the ‘Fastener+Fixing Magazine’, read by more than 30,000 fastener professionals worldwide.
