Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017 ends with positive results
Messe Stuttgart is conveniently located between Stuttgart airport (5 min walking distance) and the motorway A8. Stuttgart offers excellent national and international transport links via plane, car and public transport, providing an easy journey to the exhibition grounds.
Directions from the A8 motorway
Coming from Stuttgart centre: Leave the motorway at the "Echterdinger Ei" junction and follow the access road towards the airport and exhibition centre. Please follow the guidance system to the car park.
Coming from Munich: Exit the motorway at junction "Messe/Flughafen". This leads you to the multi-storey car park over the motorway.
Directions from the B27
The car parks at the western edge of the trade fair centre are accessible from both directions, Stuttgart or Tübingen. The multi-storey car park over the A8 motorway is also accessible - please follow the guidance system.

A total of 8,200 parking spaces are available to all visitors directly at the Stuttgart exhibition grounds. Parking spaces at the airport can be used as well, so there are over 15,000 parking spaces available.
Low Emission Zone
Please note: Messe Stuttgart is NOT in the low emission zone.
On 1st March 2008 a low emission zone was introduced in Stuttgart. Only vehicles that fulfil the EU exhaust standards are permitted to enter the city centre and require an official permit (disc-shaped sticker) that must be displayed on every vehicle’s windshield. These regulations also apply to visitors from abroad.
Please note: The sticker is only required if visitors travel through the city centre since Messe Stuttgart is located outside the low emission zone. If visitors require a permit (this will incur a fee), please click here for more information.
As a hub for international north/south and east/west routes, Stuttgart is connected directly to 13 European capitals via the rail network (ICE, IC, InterRegio).
From the central station to the exhibition grounds
Stuttgart central station is located in the city centre and just 13 km from Stuttgart Airport and Messe Stuttgart. From the central railway station to the exhibition grounds, take the suburban trains (S-Bahn) S2 or S3, direction “Stuttgart Flughafen/Neue Messe Stuttgart”. The travel time is 27 minutes.

The S-Bahn rail network operates their services from Stuttgart central station from 04:55 (or 05:25 on Sundays and public holidays) until 00:25, every 10 to 20 minutes. From ‘Stuttgart Flughafen / Messe Stuttgart’ in the direction to Stuttgart central station, the S-Bahn operates every 10 to 20 minutes between 05:08 (or 05:48 on Sundays and public holidays) until 00:08.

The venue is approximately 200 metres away from the Airport terminals (just a 5 minute walk). Please follow the sign ‘Messe/ICS’ to get to the Stuttgart exhibition grounds.
The Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre can also be easily reached by bus – the routes shown below serve the venue:
